永恒活着的雅威上帝使用其创造物和人类，一直在亲自导演荣耀上帝的真实剧。人类历史就是这场真实剧的表演过程。圣经乃是上帝赐给人类的剧本。圣经记录了已经发生的一些关键性剧情，上帝设定了剧情进程和一些角色，而大部分人有自由选择自己的角色和表演方式。

The eternally living God, Yahweh, uses His creation and humanity to personally direct a real-life drama that glorifies Him. Human history is the unfolding of this drama. The Bible is the script God has given to humanity; it records key plot points that have already occurred, and while God has established the narrative arc and certain roles, most people possess the freedom to choose their own roles and how they perform them.
God created all people and endowed them with the freedom of choice. Although humanity chose to rebel against Yahweh and turn away from their Creator, the loving God did not abandon them entirely. Instead, He chose Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob — along with Jacob’s descendants, the Israelites — personally teaching, guiding, disciplining, and shaping them. He molded Israel into a people who worshipped Yahweh alone, thereby enabling His Son, Jesus Christ, to enter the world through that nation and accomplish the grace of redemption. Through the cross of Jesus Christ, people can — by faith — confess their sins, repent, receive forgiveness, and enter God’s Kingdom; the Holy Spirit then guides believers to live out a Kingdom life that glorifies God. Christ will return to this physical world to bring this real-life drama to its conclusion.
