Who We Are
The Church of Agape Reconciliation was established to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to Chinese communities around the world, and to provide biblical teaching, discipleship training, fellowship life, and pastoral care. We gather in a hybrid online and in-person model; friends from around the world are welcome to join us!
Brothers and sisters from China, Malaysia, and other places already worship with us.
Our mission is to glorify God, leading people into an ever-deepening relationship with Jesus Christ, and building a community full of faith, reconciliation, and service.
Our declaration: to walk with God and work with one another. This reflects our commitment as followers of Jesus Christ to faithful discipleship, biblical community life, and co-laboring in ministry.
Our History
- In 2015, the Church of Agape Reconciliation was founded by Pastor Wanbing Li with the support of North Carolina Southern Baptists.
- From 2015 to 2019, the church held regular worship at Fountain of Life Church in Durham, North Carolina, serving Chinese individuals and families in the Triangle area.
- In March 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the church transitioned to online worship and ministry.
- Today, the church continues to serve congregants living in different states and countries through its online ministry, while the Triangle-area congregation gathers in person regularly for worship, fellowship, prayer, and ministry.

Ministry Team
Pastor — Pastor Wanbing Li
Founder and pastor of the Church of Agape Reconciliation. Responsible for preaching and teaching, pastoral care, church leadership and administration, discipleship training and mentoring, and community outreach.
Missions Ministry — Wanquan Li
Responsible for missions and evangelism, advancing gospel outreach and care.
Treasurer & Prayer — Yaya
Responsible for church financial administration, management of offerings, financial records, and budget oversight and reporting; also leads the prayer ministry.
Worship Leader — Aijun Li
Responsible for worship planning and coordination, the music ministry, preparation of worship gatherings, and supporting and nurturing the worship team.
Technical Support — Wanrong Li
Provides technical support for online worship, manages the video conferencing platform, assists with church communications, and supports the technical needs of various church ministries.
